About the show
Edward Hopper's artwork always seems to be telling a story in a single image.
So we put out a nation-wide call for playwrights to select one of Hopper's 182 works and craft a short play based on it.
The eight selected works are just as haunting and mesmerizing as the art itself.

Auditions will take place in February only if needed; it is preferred if directors are able to cast their shows on their own.
Directors will have from February to June to rehearse, record, and edit their selected play; how they arrange that is up to their discretion.
Each show must begin and end with the painting.
