by Susan Glaspell

directed Anna Elizabeth Gant

This one-act play was one of the first pieces written during the beginnings of the feminist movement, and is one of the most anthologized dramas in history. It follows an investigation into the murder of a woman in a small Massachusetts town, and shows the public and private lives of women, the ways in which they act in front of each other, and in front of men.
